MAD Arts, located in great old house build in 1910, is home to over 200 artisans from beautiful Madison County and the surrounding area. We've got handmade! There is something for everyone including jewelry, textiles, pottery, original paintings and prints, greeting cards, gifts for children, fused and blown glass, iron and bronze work, soapstone creations, carved bone and stone, outdoor metalwork, frames, furniture, lamps, needle felted creatures, fairy houses and gnomes.

We also offer fine art classes, youth art classes, craft classes and paint parties.
Select art supplies available.
We accept all forms of payment.
Groups are welcome and we have an outdoor picnic area in the garden.

"This is one of those quirky local product shops that you see on the side of 29 when you are blasting back to DC and you think, "that looks interesting, but I don't have time." But then one time you slam on the breaks because life is short and meant to be savored dammit...and tadaa...it's worth your time. Certainly they have interesting things you won't need like the hand carved stone lizard, but they will also have things you will need like a hand made puppet or a metal bird (Hey - put a bird on that bird!) or grass fed beef...yup, I said grass fed beef - It's local and that's the theme here."
